Incident Management for Cleveland Regional ITS Architecture Roles and Responsibilities

Bradley County	Coordinate incident response with emergency dispatch agencies, the City of Cleveland TOC, and the TDOT SmartWay Center in Chattanooga for incidents on state facilities.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
City of Cleveland	Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response.
	Responsible for coordination with other traffic operations centers and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Operate DMS for the distribution of incident information to travelers on the roadway.
	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors to support incident detection and verification.
McMinn County	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
	Coordinate incident response with emergency dispatch agencies, the City of Cleveland TOC, and the TDOT SmartWay Center in Chattanooga for incidents on state facilities.
TDOT	Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of special traffic management strategies during an evacuation.
	Responsible for coordination with other traffic operations centers and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Operate DMS and HAR for the distribution of incident information to travelers on the roadway.
	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors from SmartWay TMC to support incident detection and verification.
THP	Dispatch public safety vehicles for incidents.
	Coordinate incident response with other public safety and traffic management agencies as well as the TDOT SmartWay Center in Chattanooga for incidents on state facilities.
