Incident Management for Kingsport Regional ITS Architecture Roles and Responsibilities

City of Kingsport TN	City of Kingsport TN TOC - Responsible for coordination with other traffic and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	City of Kingsport TN TOC - Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response.
	City of Kingsport TN TOC - Operate DMS to distribute incident information to travelers on the roadway.
	City of Kingsport TN TOC - Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Kingsport TN 911 Dispatch - Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
	Kingsport TN 911 Dispatch - Coordinate incident response with emergency dispatch agencies, the City of Kingsport TN TOC, and the TDOT SmartWay Center in Knoxville for incidents on state facilities.
	City of Kingsport TN TOC - Remotely control traffic and video sensors to support incident detection and verification.
Hawkins County TN	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
	Coordinate incident response with the City of Kingsport TN TOC and the TDOT SmartWay Center in Knoxville for incidents on state facilities as well as with other emergency dispatch agencies including the City of Kingsport TN and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Sullivan County TN	Coordinate incident response with the City of Kingsport TN TOC and the TDOT SmartWay Center in Knoxville for incidents on state facilities as well as with other emergency dispatch agencies including the City of Kingsport TN and the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
TDOT	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors from the SmartWay TMC to support incident detection and verification.
	Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of special traffic management strategies during an evacuation.
	Responsible for coordination with other traffic and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Operate DMS and HAR to distribute incident information to travelers on the roadway.
THP	Coordinate incident response with other public safety and traffic management agencies as well as the TDOT SmartWay Center in Knoxville for incidents on state facilities.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles for incidents.
VDOT	Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of special traffic management strategies during an evacuation.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors to support incident detection and verification.
	Responsible for coordination with other traffic and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Operate DMS, HAR, and Wizard CB Radio to distribute incident information to travelers on the roadway.
VSP	Coordinate incident response with other public safety and traffic management agencies, the VDOT Bristol District and VDOT TMC in Salem for incidents on state facilities.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles for incidents.
