Incident Management for Lakeway Regional ITS Architecture Roles and Responsibilities

Stakeholder	Role and Responsibility
City of Jefferson City	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Responsible for coordination with other TOCs and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors to support incident detection and verification.
City of Morristown	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Responsible for coordination with other TOCs and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors to support incident detection and verification.
	Coordinate maintenance resources for incident response.
	Operate DMS for the distribution of incident information to travelers on the roadway.
Hamblen County	Coordinate incident response with emergency dispatch agencies, the City of Morristown TOC, other municipal TOCs, and the TDOT Region 1 TMC - Knoxville for incidents on state facilities.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
Jefferson County	Coordinate incident response with emergency dispatch agencies, the City of Jefferson City TOC, other municipal TOCs, and the TDOT Region 1 TMC - Knoxville for incidents on state facilities.
	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
TDOT	Operate DMS and HAR for the distribution of incident information to travelers on the roadway.
	Responsible for the dissemination of traffic related data to other centers and the media.
	Responsible for the development, coordination, and execution of special traffic management strategies during an evacuation
	Responsible for coordination with other traffic operations centers and emergency management agencies for coordinated incident management.
	Remotely control traffic and video sensors from the TDOT Region 1 TMC - Knoxville to support incident detection and verification.
THP	Dispatch public safety vehicles to incidents.
	Coordinate incident response with other public safety and traffic management agencies as well as the TDOT Region 1 TMC - Knoxville for incidents on state facilities.
