The California Statewide ITS Architecture inventory
is made up of the transportation and
communications centers, the field equipment, the vehicles, and other
systems that support statewide or interregional services, or statewide
standards. The high-level inventory included here supports an
overarching framework that complements the more detailed regional ITS
architectures in the state. In the National ITS
Architecture, "entities" are the subsystems and terminators that
generally represent the systems in ITS. The following table includes the portion of inventory related to the SCAG region and sorts
the inventory by National ITS Architecture
entity. This sorts elements that perform similar functions together,
so elements of a particular type can be easily identified. Each
element in the list is a hyperlink to more detailed information.
